I know what you’re thinking – who listens to podcasts?
It tends to be Young Adults interested in niche topics, entertainment, personal development, and current events. They tend to listen on-the-go, during workouts, or while multitasking.
Professionals in industries like tech, business, finance, and health often listen to podcasts for career-related content, or thought leadership.
Early Adopters: Podcast listeners tend to be comfortable with technology and digital platforms.
But here’s the kicker: Your decision to produce a podcast… shouldn’t depend on any of that.
Here are the top 3 reasons you should be producing a podcast to build your digital footprint:
VOX: Reason number one: Opportunities for content
What I’m about to reveal to you is probably the most important reason, and why I am a podcast evangelist to all my clients.
The first thing most people think is
VOX: Why would I do a podcast, who is going to listen to it?
My answer is: You don’t produce a podcast because you want people to listen to it.
You produce a podcast, because people can listen to it. But, you can also convert the same podcast into text for your website articles, video for your youtube channel, social media posts, and soundbites for radio programs like what you’re listening to right now. All from ONE podcast.
So, if you take only one thing from this episode, it’s this: If you only have the opportunity to produce one type of content this year…. Make it a podcast.

VOX: Reason Number 2: Inexpensive
Following on from number one…podcasts give you the most bang for your buck, in terms of content production and your budget. They are NOT expensive to do. We price them very reasonably and are willing to work with your budget.
VOX: Reason Number 3: Reaching an International Audience
We can distribute your podcast across all international platforms including spotify, pandora, google play and apple podcasts. This means you can market to an international audience if you want to. If you have a tourism product, for example where you want people from all over the world to know about you, this is a good example of how podcast distribution can help you grow an audience. Or if you yourself are the brand, and you wanted to grow your digital reputation, and position yourself as an expert, creating a podcast is an excellent way to do so.

I think I’ve hammered home how much I love podcasts. They’re inexpensive, they’re so versatile, and you can fill an entire social media calendar and website just from one podcast.
